IRON MAIDEN will bring their most spectacular show to Sofia as part of the band’s massive “Run For Your Lives” world tour, marking their 50th anniversary.

The Grammy Award-winning singer Angelique Kidjo, known as "Africa's premier diva," will have her first concert in Bulgaria on Thursday.
The concert will be in Sofia's National Palace of Culture. It will be part of the festival"Meet the world" and will be organized by BG Sound Stage Ltd, with the cooperation of the French Cultural Institute.
In her 20-year music career, Kidjo has released 10 albums. Her last album "Oyo" was released in January 2010. It is a mix of soul, R&B, jazz music and traditional melodies from Benin, her native country.
Her 2008 album "Djin Djin" featured international stars like Alicia Keys, Peter Gabriel, Carlos Santana, Joss Stone, Ziggy Marley and Josh Groban and it brought her a Grammy Award.
Kidjo was part of the Official Kick-Off Celebration Concert of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, along with Shakira, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Juanes, Black Eyed Peas and Hugh Masekela.
Besides an internationally known singer, Angelique is also an activist. She has been a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 2002. She has supported all the campaigns and has traveled to many countries to promote them.
