Bulgaria as an attractive golf destination is a topic of the special feature of the famous movie producer in the world of golf Glenn Mitchell.
The feature is on air from this week on TV and satellite channels in more than 34 countries, which are leading for our tourism. The airlines British Airways, Virgin and Lufthansa already broadcast the feature during flights.
The program, for which was made the feature is Golfing World, part of IMG Media, and the shortened version airs on the specialized Golf Channel.
"This is a feature on the development of the Bulgarian golf – how the golf association started, who founded it, what are the future plans, etc. Then we kind of combine it with the Bulgarian Open because we wanted to meet some players as well and of course the winner," explained Glenn Mitchell.
The second feature is specifically about the Bulgarian Open that started back in 2004 and it's been played in Sofia and because of the expansion program with the courses it's now being played on two different courses over 3 days.
Mitchell added that next year another course - Thracian Cliffs - will come into play so it will be 3 courses on 3 days.
"That will be an exposure for good international golfers but for local players as well," he commented.
