Bulgaria: Bulgaria Sumo Champion Kotooshu Strikes Again

Bulgaria sumo wrestler Kaloyan Mahlyanov-Kotooshu has registered his sixth victory in the Spring Sumo super tournament in Osaka, Japan.

Kotooshu removed his rival Kisenosato from the dohyo with a "yoritaoshi" move, and continues his successful start to 2010 with six wins and one defeat, after the end of Round 7.

In the next round, he will face the Japanese Tosayutaka, who has had seven losses this year.

Another Bulgarian - Daniel Ivanov Aoiyama - recorded a brilliant performance in the third division, gaining four wins in as many matches.
