The Greek police arrested two individuals with counterfeit EUR bills, made in Sofia, Greek authorities inform Monday.

The two are 37 and 39-year-old and identified only as foreign citizens, but information about their exact nationality is not available. They were arrested Saturday evening in the Greek town of Kukus while trying to sell EUR 50 000 to two undercover police officers.

The men asked for EUR 8 250 in exchange for the fake EUR 50 000.
