The five Bulgarian tourists who suffered worst in a road traffic accident with a bus in Egypt yesterday are the AMC private hospital in Hurghada, Bulgarian consul Evgeni Paralingov said. He was immediately sent to the spot by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said in a statement to BTA.
The victims have fractures and cut wounds. Today the wounded will be examined with a scanner to be given treatment, including surgery, if necessary.
A representative of both the Bulgarian and the Egyptian tourist company are in the hospital with the wounded. All medical bills will be paid for by passenger insurance.
Out of a total of 20 injured in the bus, 12 have lighter wounds, abrasions, bruises, minor cut wounds - they have been released from medical establisments and have shown a desire to continue their travel program.
The Nile River Cruise ends on Saturday, March 24th. At the hotel in Hurghada, where the consul will be accommodated, they wished to wait for the group to return on March 24.
