Bulgaria: RB Parties Re-Sign Agreement To Work Together, DSB Excluded BGNES

“We have re-signed the agreement between us. DSB were invited but, at this stage, they declined,” stated the leader of SDS Bozhidar Lukarski after a meeting of the leadership of the Reformist Bloc.

According to the statute of the bloc, the right-wing coalition will exist until a full round of elections has been carried out i.e. until Sunday. This is why the leaders, excluding one, renewed the agreement.

In the next three months, the agreement will be “wide open” to DSB and people who wish to become members individually, stated DBG’s leader Meglena Kuneva.

Health Minister Petar Moskov and the former Education Minister Todor Tanev will remain as individual members. The former is the only person from DSB to remain in the bloc for now.

The Reformist Bloc called on citizens who voted for RB at the first round of elections to vote for Tsacheva at the run-off.
