Prestigious Booker Prize Adds £50,000 Prize for Young Readers’ Fiction

Young Bulgarian writers will be the focus of the third Sunday of the Sofia Breathes annual festival, the event's organizers have said.
Starting 16h on August 16, the downtown Angel Kanchev Street (the section between Solunska Str and Patriarh Evtimiy Blvd) will be closed to traffic.
Cars will give way to book stands of ten publishing houses some of which will also offer a meeting with some of their most recent authors.
Apart from books, literature games and music, kids will also have the opportunity to meet writer Viktor Samuilov and illustrator and writer Zara Buyukliyska - two of the most renowned authors of children's books.
At 19:30, a concert of Par Avion Band (alternative rock) from the US will begin as part of the festival.
Parking in the section where Sofia Breathes is taking place, as well as some adjacent crossings, is forbidden between 08:00 and 23:00.
