The purse bid for the proposed European Heavyweight title fight between Bulgarian undefeated champion Kubrat Pulev and challenger Tyson Fury has been cancelled.
According to German media, Fury has given up the chance to fight Pulev for the title in a fight that also doubled up as an IBF final eliminator.
Pulev has not fought since September and it remains to be seen whether he will now become mandatory to IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko or have to go through another eliminator, Boxing Asylum informs.
Kubrat Pulev is currently IBF International Heavyweight champion (2011) and European Boxing Union heavyweight champion (2012).
He was awarded the prize of Bulgarian athlete of the year for 2012.
