One policeman was killed and 59 others were injured during several days of clashes, which broke out in the North African country after the assassination of opposition leader Shokri Belaid, the country's Interior Ministry has said.
The Tunisian Interior Ministry said 375 people had been detained in a police action against the demonstrators.
The Ministry did not specify how many protesters suffered during the clashes with the police across the country or how many offices of the ruling Islamist party Ennahda were crushed by the demonstrators, RIA Novosti informs.
Thousands of Tunisians took to the streets from Wednesday to condemn Belaid's murder, attacking a dozen of police stations.
Belaid, an outspoken critic of the post-revolution coalition government led by the Islamist Ennahda party, was shot dead in broad daylight near his Tunis home on Wednesday.
Opposition groups have accused Ennahda of being behind the assassination.
