Bulgaria: World's Best Bodybuilders Flaunt Muscles in Sofia, Bulgaria 3rd

Bulgaria's capital Sofia hosted this weekend one of the most exciting events in the IFBB yearly activity: 2012 IFBB World Classic Bodybuilding Championships and IFBB World Cup.

As many as 91 classic bodybuilders from 32 countries joined the event, with classic bodybuilders from all 5 continents for the first time.

Bulgaria ranked third with 43 points in the team standings, lagging behind Korea and Iran.

To the disappointment of local bodybuilding fans, the country failed to grab a gold medal. The best performances were staged by Vladimir Kurdov and Rossen Ivanov, who ranked second and Pavel Georgiev – third in the individual disciplines.
