Boris Nakev, a Bulgarian manager, has been re-appointed in charge of the Software Division of Hewlett-Packard for Southeastern Europe, HP announced Tuesday.
Nakev will be in charge of the development and management of large-scale software projects of HP in Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Moldova, and Malta, a job that he held between 2005 and 2009, the company said.
He has been part of the HP team since 2005, and has been working as a Country Sales Manager, HP ESSN at Hewlett-Packard since 2009.
Nakev has been credited with managing to expand the partner network of HP Bulgaria with respect to hardware sales and servicing, leading the company to top positions on the Bulgarian market of servers, data storage, and support.
He was HP South Eastern Europe (SEE) Software and Services Sales Manager at Hewlett-Packard between 2005 and 2009.
Nakev has 15 years of experience in IT; has a MBA from the American University in Sofia, and a Ph. D. in IT from the Sofia University.
