Manchester United will offer Bulgarian star striker Dimitar Berbatov to the Spanish teams "Valencia" and "Sevilla."

The news was reported Monday by the Bulgarian Standard daily, citing the Spanish radio Cadena SER.

The management of Man U will try to receive a transfer fee for the Bulgarian striker in the summer, although his contract expires.

According to it, the former Bulgarian national football player has an option whereby the management of the English champions can automatically extend it. This clause will prevent the player from leaving "Old Trafford" as a free agent.

In the last month 31-year-old Berbatov has not been let on the field as member of the "Manchester United" team. He admitted in a recent interview that it hurts to be little more than a bit-part player in the team's Premier League title quest, but said he was ready and willing to make an impact when required.
