A 25-year-old taxi-driver has been arrested for robbing his clients in the top Bulgarian Black Sea resorts Sunny Beach and Nessebar.

The man was captured on Saturday after on Friday an 18-year-old Israeli tourist alerted the local police that a cab driver robbed him, stealing his mobile phone and a golden ring.

During the search of the taxi driver's possessions, the police found the belongings of the Israeli tourist, as well as two digital cameras, five mobile phones, BGN 460, the wallet with the ID of a 17-year-old citizen of the Netherlands, and a device for manipulating the cab's taximeter in order to increase the sum owed by the client.
