Bulgarians will enjoy a special annual edition of the Forbes magazine in November, which will set the beginning of the first Bulgarian edition of Forbes.

Attica Media Bulgaria has announced that the special edition will be on the market on November 10. It will present the world famous list of international, as well as Bulgarian, billionaires and it will feature analysis of current economic and financial issues in the country.

In January 2009, Attica Media Bulgaria announced the beginning of the project for a Bulgarian edition of Forbes. The magazine was expected to be on the market in October 2009.

The first issue of Forbes Bulgaria will have a circulation of 25 000 and it will cost BGN 6,95. The expected audience envisions 70% of the readers to be men and 60% to be married. About 80% are expected to be university graduates, with incomes above the average for the country.

At first, the planned circulation was 30 000 and the content envisioned 60% Bulgarian business news, comments and columns and 40% translation of the original edition.

The Bulgarian edition of Forbes will be published by Attica Media Bulgaria, which also publishes the Bulgarian editions of Playboy, Maxim, Grazia, Joy, and OK!.

In 2009, Forbes Media LLC explained their plans for entering the Bulgarian market as part of their strategy for expansion in Eastern Europe.

Forbes Bulgaria will be the magazine's eleventh local-language licensee edition. The other editions in local languages are published in China, Croatia, Israel, Japan, Korea, Poland, Russia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

Since 1917, when the first edition of Forbes is on the market, the mission of the magazine is to present to its readers information and analysis, which guarantee success and competitiveness in the business.
