US Puts Bulgarian ID Thief on Immigration Hold
A Bulgarian man, who pleaded guilty to stealing the name of a slain boy in the United States, has been placed on an "immigration hold", U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Seattle announced.

The Bulgarian Doitchin Krasev, accused of masquerading as the murdered American boy Jason Evers, will be allowed to wed behind bars.
The bride-to-be has not been identified in court papers, but will have to obtain a marriage license before the two can marry.
“Now that the legal niceties are out of the way, a more pressing question remains: Will Krasev's bride-to-be take his name? And if so, which one?” the US newspaper said.
The Bulgarian is being held on a federal charge of falsifying a passport application. He faces further charges of identity theft in Ohio, USA.
The former liquor control investigator went to the United States as a student in the 1990s. He disappeared, then resurfaced 14 years ago using the name Jason Robert Evers. The real Jason Evers was a 3-year-old boy who was kidnapped and murdered in 1982 in Ohio.
