Bulgaria: Administrative Services Suspended for Bulgarian 'Needy' Judges' Relatives The southern Bulgarian Black Sea town of Primorsko is an attractive location for summer tourism.

Mayor of Bulgarian Black Sea town of Primorsko Lilyana Dimova mandated Monday a suspension of administrative services and procedures of judges' relatives who have illegally acquired construction rights in the town.

The objective is to prevent any attempts for the transfer of rights on the real estate lots on the part of the alleged offenders.

At the present moment administrative investigations are being carried out in order to find irregularities in the granting of building rights to persons who have falsely presented themselves as being in need of social support.

Earlier this spring it was revealed that three senior judges from the Supreme Administrative Court helped close relatives to obtain building rights for beach-front lots in Primorsko thanks to their acquired status of people on social benefits.

This has lead to the three judges being expelled from the Supreme Administrative Court. It was later revealed that a total of about 400 people on purported “social benefits” have similarly received rights to build in Primorsko.
