The death toll from the Lame Horse nightclub fire in the Russian city of Perm has risen to 136, according to local officials.
Over 140 people were injured in the blaze, which was caused by an indoor fireworks display, and almost 100 people remain in hospital. The immediate death toll last Friday stood at 112.
Charges were brought against four people on Monday, and they remain in custody. The nightclub owner died on Wednesday of the injuries he had sustained in the fire.
In a visit to the site on Tuesday, Russian PM Vladimir Putin harshly criticized Perm officials.
"I simply don't understand how fireworks can be used indoors when it's written clearly and in Russian: 'Do not use indoors,'" Mr. Putin said in televised remarks.
Several fire and safety personnel have been suspended over the incident, and the Russian Emergencies Minister, Sergey Shoigu, has called for spot checks on all nightclubs to be completed by the end of the year.
