More Arrests in Bulgaria Targeting Vote-Buying Before the April Elections

A special police operation resulted in a crazy car chase in the streets of the Bulgarian capital Sofia late Thursday night.
This has been reported by the bTV channel, which also said there was no information available from the police or other sources regarding what the chase was about.
According to bTV, a police patrol came across a wanted jeep Thursday night, and tried to pull it over. However, the driver managed to get away leading to an one-hour chase in the streets of Sofia.
Eventually, the jeep was blocked in the Musagenitsa Quarter in the south but the people in it got away with a BMW. About an hour later, a similar BMW was detected by the police in the Boyana Quarter.
The Sofia police were also looking for a second jeep since a number of jeeps were stopped and inspected throughout the night, bTV says summing up all available information on the case.
