The open door sessions of Bulgaria's 41st General Assembly are going to be broadcast online in real time.

The sessions can be viewed through the Parliament's internet site.

The decision was made by Bulgaria's new Members of the Parliament (MPs) Thursday.

The sessions will also air directly on the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) and National Radio (BNR).

The rightist Blue Coalition proposed a text to cancel the parliamentary sessions when there is a lack of quorum, but the MPs rejected it.

The MPs also decided to introduce a modern biometric voting system to become functional by January 1, 2010.
