Bulgaria's top sumo wrestler, Kaloyan Mahlyanov, a.k.a Kotooshu has one his sixth straight victory in the July Grand Sumo Tournament in Japan's Nagoya.

Kotooshu defeated maegashira Toyohibiki in an impressive victory that pleased the full house at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium in Nagoya. The tournament lasts until July 26.

Kotooshu is ranked ozeki, one notch below the pinnacle of the sumo world, yokozuna and he may well reach this level if he continues his current form.

Kotooshu's next bout will be against komusubi Kyokutenho, whose record in the tournament so far is two wins from six matches.

The two yokozuna, Asashoryu and Hakuho, both of Mongolia also remain undefeated in the tournament with their latest wins.
