The biography book titled "The Truth about Lili Ivanova" is going to come out on her birthday, April 24, the star performer stated during a press conference at the Bulgarian Information Agency BTA, held Tuesday.
The book, published by the "Siela" publishing house, will have a circulation of 100,000.
According to Ivanova, the biography, edited by the popular Bulgarian journalist, Martin Karbovski, is the real book of her life. The pop star said that she could not believe someone could sell a long-lasting friendship for BGN 12, referring to another journalist, Isaac Gozes, who is also planning to publish a biography of the singer.
Ivanova declared that the writing of the Gozes' book has never been coordinated with her and it is being published without her permission. The singer's legal team has already initiated proceedings against the author, with charges that he had committed copyright violations. Ivanova compared Gozes' biography to a reference book, adding that it contained many false details and degrading stories about people, she had never told.
Ivanova appealed to Gozes to halt the book or, at least, publish it, after Karbovski's version was already on the market.
