Five wooden bungalows were burned Thursday night in a fire that broke out in the woods near Bulgaria's Golden Sands seaside resort.
The flames blazed for about three hours before firefighters managed to put them out. A total of four firefighting crews arrived at the scene. The neighboring 15 bungalows were saved, and so were several gas bottles and gasoline and naphtha tubes that were lying nearby.
The bungalows that burned down were built without proper construction permits, and they were not equipped with fire alarm systems.
Police is currently investigating the case.
