The rising star of Bulgarian actress Vessela Kazakova will glow over this year's Berlinale fest.
She will receive the award of the Studio Hamburg Shooting Stars.
The European Film Promotion (EFP) has selected Kazakova, famous for much renowned film Stolen Eyes, along with 21 actors.
Shooting Stars, Berlinale's special section for young talents, was launched in 1998.
The first important film event of the year Berlinale is gearing up to roll out the red carpet on Thursday for some of the world's top stars and for a showcase 19 premieres in its main program.
Bulgaria's Kazakova will make her way to Berlin shouldering with Isabelle Huppert, Gael Garcia Bernal, Isabella Rossellini, George Clooney, Heath Ledger, Meryl Streep and John Hurt.
A Bulgarian movie will also participate for the first time in the 56th Berlinale's Talent Project Market. Maya Vitkova's Queen Victoria will be presented during the event scheduled to occur between February 9-19.
Queen Victoria is among the 17 entries participating in the project, after the selection of a 227-member jury. A Macedonian-Bulgarian project will also be presented, the Bulgarian news agency informed.
Screening of Queen Victoria in Bulgaria will begin in the spring of 2007. It is one of the 12 Balkan projects picked up to present the Balkan Fund during the 46th International Film Festival in Thessaloniki.
