The first Spanish tourists on the legendary Orient Express this year stopped in Varna on their fabulous way to Turkey.
The famous train that has been linking two continents - from Paris to Istanbul - since October 1883 served its passengers with fresh yogurt while staying in Bulgaria's "coastal capital".
Earlier on Tuesday the glitzy train entertained also the residents of the Danube town of Rousse where it stopped for a while. The railway Rousse-Varna is the oldest one in Bulgaria.
A one-way ticket for the annual transcontinental trip costs its aristocratic passengers EUR 6,000.
Besides first Spaniards, this year it carries 110 Britons, Italians, Germans, Australians and New Zealanders served by 40-staffed crew.
The retro-luxury equipped train was renovated and re-launched into trips 25 years ago by a private company.
