Two ancient seals were disclosed during excavations in Bulgaria.
The seals found in the Veliki Preslav basilica are said to have belonged to Byzantine dignitaries. Over 100 golden coins were also found during the excavations.
More than 20 graves were unearthed as well. Experts point out that the graves date back to the time when Veliki Preslav was no longer a capital of the Bulgarian tsars.
The Veliki Preslav basilica was disclosed in 2003. It is dated back to 9th or 10th century and archaeologists say it is the biggest church in Veliki Preslav.
