Bulgarian chart-topping band D-2 recorded a special song, "Forever", dedicated to Bulgaria's national football team. The initiative came from Sofia-based BG Radio as a way to wish the players good luck prior to this year's European Championship in Portugal.
The radio also produced the track, which was composed by D-2 guitarist Mitko Karnev, and the lyrics were written by Rumen Gaydev a.k.a. Garo, who has been enjoying great success both as songwriter and fitness instructor.
Young artist Nina Nikolina and her veteran colleague Vanya Kostova also lent the projects a hand by performing the backing vocals of "Forever."
Music fans will be able to hear the song for the first time on February 28, at the ceremony for the annual BG Radio Music Awards.
At the end of next month, work on the video for "Forever" is expected to start.
