British Armed Forces Minister Visits Bulgaria Ahead of NATO Summit
The British Minister of the Armed Forces, Leo Doherty, is set to embark on a two-day visit to Bulgaria, as announced by the British Embassy
The Interior Ministry received more than 200 reports of violations of the election process throughout election day, reports the Bulgarian National Radio.
The authorities started 60 investigations.
Meanwhile, as of the early Sunday afternoon, the Central Electoral Committee (CEC) received more than 133 reports and complaints, both from Bulgaria and abroad, reports Mediapool.bg.
Most of the reports were for solicitation on part of candidates, party and coalition representatives.
The CEC also fined several media for publishing exit poll data on election day, in spite the ban.
At the same time, Ognyan Minchev of the Transparency Without Borders association noted, that there was a considerable increase in controlled voting and vote buying, compared to previous elections.
