Changes to Sofia's Airport Bus Service: Line 384 Discontinued, New Express Route Soon
Bus line 384, which previously operated between Druzhba-2 district and Sofia Airport, has been officially discontinued, announced the Center for Urban Mobility.
Citizens and guests of the Bulgarian capital will be able to enjoy for three nights Leo Delibes' opera “Lakme” in the park of the G.S.Rakovski National Military Academy in September.
The opera nights in the park are organized by the Sofia municipality and the Sofia Opera and Ballet, under the patronage of the Sofia mayor Yordanka Fandakova, with co-operation of the Ministry of Defense.
The culture event will take place on September 10, 11 and 12, and will be dedicated to the Sofia holiday, which is September 17.
The organization of opera nights is the first such event in the park of the Military Academy, which was open this summer for public access.
The performances will begin at 8 pm in the park of the academy and tickets will be sold at the cash register of the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
“Lakme” is Delibes' last and most popular opera. Like other French operas of that period, it captures the ambiance of the Orient that was in vogue during the latter part of the 19th century.
