It has been confirmed officially that Bulgaria’s Defense Minister Anyu Angelov and a 4-year-old girl have suffered light injuries in a car accident in Sofia.
A car of the Bulgarian National Security Service transporting Minister Angelov hit another car at a crossroads of the Bulgaria Blvd in Sofia late Wednesday night.
It is still unclear which one of the two cars caused the accident. According to witnesses cited by the Bulgarian National TV, immediately after the crash there was a row between the drivers of the two cars. The father of the injured little girl, who was in the car together with his wife and daughter, came out and started shouting at the officers of the National Security Service.
Immediately after the accidents, the girl and Minister Angelov were taken to the governmental hospital. Both have been found to suffer light injuries.
Minister Angelov, who has light bruises, was discharged almost immediately whereas the girl has been left in the hospital for the night just in case, under doctoral supervision.
The causes of the accident are under investigation.
