A storm delayed the departure of the world's biggest airliner on its return trip to Singapore on Friday after its historic maiden flight to Sydney.
The delay of the flight, which had been scheduled to leave at 4.00 pm (0600 GMT), was reported to be indefinite as it depended on the weather.
The Airbus A380, the largest airliner ever built, successfully completed its maiden commercial flight into Sydney on Thursday after a seven-hour journey from Singapore.
Singapore Airlines took delivery of the huge plane Airbus A 380, dubbed the Superjumbo, just over a week ago.
Flight SQ380 took off from Changi airport with 455 people and 28 crew members on board although it can carry at a total of 850 passengers.
The people, who experienced the craft's first flight, were mostly Australians. They bought tickets online in an auction and the airline said it will donate USD 1,3 M raised from sales to charity.
