US socialite Paris Hilton has entered behind bars on Monday to serve her sentence for violating probation, her lawyer announced.
The blonde heiress of millions was taken from her parents' home early in the morning.
"Paris Hilton has turned herself in to begin serving her sentence for violating probation at a Los Angeles County Jail located in Lynwood, California, Richard Hutton said in a statement.
The VIP inmate will serve her 23 days in the facility's "special needs" unit.
Hilton was sentenced in Los Angeles for violating a 36-month probation, after she was sentenced for drunk driving.
Just a day before her imprisonment, the socialite was accused of plagiarism for her Stars are Blind song, which is believed to be a copy of UB40's Kingston Town.
