The new Romanian ministers swore in before Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu on Thursday after the country's two chambers of Parliament voted on Tuesday to endorse a new minority government.
Earlier in the week, the country's lawmakers approved the slimmer cabinet structure, with 17 ministerial portfolios, down from 23.
A total 414 MPs from 466 attended the parliamentary hearings, but two parties refused to vote.
President Traian Basescu's Democrats and the Liberal-Democrats, who splintered from Tariceanu's Liberal Party, walked out before the vote.
Tariceanu proposed the reshuffle in a bid to end the bickering between the Liberals and Democrats, the senior partners in the previous ruling coalition.
The new minority cabinet includes members of the Liberal party and the ethnic Hungarian UDMR party.
