Kalina, daughter of Bulgaria's former prime minister and king Simeon Saxe-Coburg, has decided to deliver her first child in the Balkan country.
The unexpected news, which delighted many a supporters of the former king in Bulgaria, was first announced by the Spanish Hola! magazine and confirmed by the princess husband Kitin Munoz.
"Simeon Saxe-Coburg was overwhelmed with joy that his eleventh grandchild will be born in Bulgaria," the famous sailor and adventurer shared with the magazine.
The news of Kalina's pregnancy was announced two months ago during the sanctification of a chapel in Bulgaria and spread with the speed of light not only here but worldwide.
Kalina wed famous Spanish explorer Kitin four years ago in a simple yet traditional ceremony in a mountain resort in southwest Bulgaria. Small surprise it was called the wedding of the year.
