The man, who took hostages in a German school on Monday, is dead, police reported without clarifying how he died. He had explosives attached to his body so special units are now working to defuse them. The culprit is reportedly an 18-year-old former student of the school in the city of Emsdetten and he started shooting as soon as he got in. A janitor and a pregnant teacher have been hurt trying to disarm him, and police admitted that several children have also been injured. Most of the kids have already fled the premises, but police still don't know how many students were at the scene, and they are oblivious to the attacker's motives.
