Running in cold and rainy conditions Bulgaria's top sprinter Ivet Lalova grabbed a win at the 100 m finals in the International Golden Spike in Ostava, Czech Republic.
The young Bulgarian, a double Olympic finalist last year and a European Champion at 200m, finished with 11.03, but had a company, pushed to the finish by Jamaican Sherone Simpson, who finished runner-up in 11.07.
Ivet's achievement at the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) event also brought her new personal record.
On Tuesday she saw weak rivalry to win the 100m semis with 11.09 seconds against a -0.3 m/s wind at home athletics contest in Sofia.
