Luis Fernandez, former coach of PSG, has declined the offer of Bulgarian billionaire Vassil Bozhkov to take on the coaching of his Sofia FC CSKA, Monte Carlo Radio informed on Wednesday.
The Bulgarian businessman had offered EUR 60,000 monthly salary to Luis Fernandez to take on CSKA . According to the radio, Fernandez has attempted to negotiate a higher emolument but faced a negative response from Bulgaria.
According to the French Le Parisien, Luis Fernandez accompanied by his close friend Eric Blondlel, left Paris last Friday to land in Sofia where Vassil Bozhkov waited him at the Airport.
Reminding that Bozhkov is Bulgaria's "Roman Abramovich", the French daily singles out the numerous acquisitions of the billionaire whose wealth is estimated at approximately EUR 800 M.
The dream of Bozhkov is to see CSKA FC starring in the Champions League and in pursuit of it he is ready now to direct his courtesy to France's Jean Francois Jodar.
