Maxim Behar, globally renowned PR professional and CEO of the leading international PR company M3 Communications Group, Inc., was elected Chairman of the new Board of Trustees of UNWE
Leading Bulgarian PR expert Maxim Behar has scooped gold as Chairman of the Year at the 2015 International Business Awards, often dubbed "the Business Oscars".
Mr Behar, picked among 1800 contenders from across the globe, has thus ranked among the handful of international winners in the Stevie Awards' Management Category for this year.
Currently he is Co-Chair of the Board of the World Communication Forum in Davos, Switzerland and Vice President of the International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO).
He is the founder and CEO of leading Bulgarian PR company M3 Communications Group, Inc and also the President of the Prague office of US-based Hill+Knowlton Strategies. Mr Behar is Honorary Consul of the Republic of Seychelles to Bulgaria.
Mr Behar's M3 Communications Group, Inc., for its part, was declared a Bronze Steve winner in the Public Relations Agency of the Year in Europe category as a recognition for "20 years of outstanding performance", its high degree of professionalism and its contribution to the development of PR business in Bulgaria.
"These awards prove that Bulgaria is fully able to compete against any other country in the world, a place where business could be done in an accurate and upright manner if you have the right attitude. To do an honest and successful business is the harder path not only in Bulgaria but anywhere else. For us, however, it is the only possible and these new awards are a clear sign that with much work and much innovation success always comes," Mr Behar has said.
For M3 Communications Group, this has been the fourth time (after 2007, 2010 and 2011) it has been awarded as Europe's best PR agency. In 2010, it also won in the Most Innovative Company of the Year category.
The awards themselves will be personally handed at a special ceremony due on October 23 in Toronto, Canada.
Created in 2002, the Stevie Awards are aimed at honoring and generating public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. Nowadays the Stevie has become one of the world's most coveted prizes.
