The intense earthquake that rattled Taiwan early Wednesday, led to equipment damage at the semiconductor giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC)
A 25-year-old Bulgarian is now missing in Nepal after a devastating tremor which hit the country on Saturday, his relatives say.
The information was first revealed through Google's Person Finder tool which was launched after the earthquake to help people in Nepal and from across the globe track friends and family members.
A relative calling himself "Danail" filled in data for a man called Aleksandar Dimitrov, who is "blonde, with beard and long hair" and had stayed at the Backpackers hotel in Kathmandu.
Private national NOVA TV station aired a statement by Aleksandar's father Hristo Dimitrov who called on the Bulgarian authorities to help find the young man.
At least 3200 people have died as a result of the earthquake, thousands have been injured and millions displaced.
Aleksandar was sent to Kathmandu as a trainee at tourist agency by the NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, a vocational institution based in the Netherlands.
Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry has so far failed to provide exact information as to the number of Bulgarians who were located in Kathmandu at the time the disaster struck the country.
But on Saturday a statement by the ministry read that there had been no reports of wounded Bulgarians.
