The Central Election Commission (CEC) provided a briefing on the preparation and organization of the 2-1 elections scheduled for June 9
Bulgaria's female tennis player Sesil Karatancheva was defeated in the first round of the Wild Lexus Women's tournament, which is being held in Osprey, Florida.
Karatancheva lost to Shelby Rogers from the USA, who is seeded third in the tournament, with 1:6, 6:2, 4:6, daily Dnevnik reports.
Rogers started the match better, achieved a break early on and managed to consolidate her lead at 3:0.
Karatancheva lowered the score to 1:3, but the US player again won three consecutive games, closing the first set with 6:1.
The Bulgarian recovered in the second set, when she managed to win a break and came in the lead with 2:0.
Rogers returned the break immediately, but Karatancheva won the next three games and eventually claimed the second set with 6:2.
The Bulgarian conceded a break early in the third set and came 0:2 behind, but managed to equalise the score for 2:2.
However Rogers made another break and kept the initiative until the end, winning the set and the match.
