The governance program prepared after the cabinet was formed in November and a new bill on energy efficiency are on the agenda of Wednesday's cabinet meeting, officials say.
During its session at the Council of Ministers building the government is expected to give the green light to priorities which were set out by the two main coalition partners, conservative GERB and rightist Reformist Bloc (RB), their partners from Alternative for Bulgarian Revival (ABV) and the Patriotic Front, which backs the ruling axis to secure its parliamentary majority.
The document includes 21 policy areas, 423 targets and 1155 measures in various sectors.
Bulgaria's cabinet has declared its commitment to fighting crime and corruption, observing transparency in governance and improving communication with citizens.
As for energy, the draft legislation aims at boosting efficiency of at least three percent of all state-owned buildings using central heating or air conditioning.
The South Stream pipeline is also on the agenda, since the program was prepared before the project's demise in December.
Deputy PM Rumyana Bachvarova told private station NOVA TV on Wednesday morning that the pipeline would not be removed from the document before Sofia received from Moscow an official confirmation that the project is over.
