Bulgaria's caretaker Culture Minister, Vladimir Penev, is opening Saturday the sixth edition of the Days of Bulgarian Cinema in Rome, Italy.
The event will take place in the "Cinema Home" – Villa Borghese. The program will start with the showing of "The Color of the Chameleon," of director Emil Hristov.
Other films include "The Foreigner" of director Nikolay Iliev, two episodes from the hit TV crime series "Undercover," where Penev, who is a Bulgarian movie star, has a leading role of a senior police officer, "Incognita" of director Mihail Pandurski, and two documentaries – "Unveiling Salome," of Nayo Titsin, and "The Unforgettable Gena" (the late Bulgarian opera prima Gena Dimitrova – editor's note) of Magdalena Mladenova.
Titsin, Pandurski, and actors from "Undercover" – Georgi Staykov, Mihail Bilalov, and Alexander Sano, are also part of the delegation.
Penev, whose program ends on May 27, will discuss with the Italian side details about the forthcoming signing of a bilateral agreement for coproductions.
