Deadly Russian Assault on Odesa Sparks Mourning, Allegations of War Crimes

Key opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party politicians have criticized what they saw as secrecy on the part of Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov regarding his recent talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the fate of the joint projected Belene NPP.
Monday Borisov had a much-publicized beforehand phone conversation with Putin on Belene, during which, Borisov had said, the Bulgarian PM was to announce his country's final position on the project.
"PM Borisov must stop playing enigmatic and must show up in Parliament to explain what he negotiated with Vladimir Putin," called Bulgarian Socialist Party Sergey Stanishev Tuesday.
"We must attentively listen PM Borisov's silence regarding his Belene NPP talks with Putin," quipped Bulgarian ex-president and runner for Socialist Party leader Georgi Parvanov.
Parvanov however opined that within days the Bulgarian PM will reveal more on the specifi contents of his conversation with his Russian counterpart.
BSP leader Stanishev also asked for specifics of the Belene talks, including the exact amount of the price for the project and reasons for its increase.
According to Stanishev, PM Borisov's stance is yet one more example of his disrespect for the Bulgarian citizens and parliament.
