Price is not a priority in the sale of state telecoms company BTC planned for this year and the government had no illusions about how much it could earn, Bulgaria`s Deputy PM and Economy Minister Nikolay Vassilev said. `Now the most important is not the price, which could have been over USD 1 billion 10 years ago. The most important now is: are we going to have a deal, or not?,` Vassilev told reporters. He said that Bulgaria also planned to offer a yet unspecified stake in BTC on international stock markets, probably next year, in addition to plans to list another stake on Bulgaria`s fledgling stock exchange. He declined to elaborate.
