Controversial Order, Lawfulness and Justice (RZS) party has requested all other opposition parties to leave Parliament in order to show their opposition to the GERB cabinet and their earnest request for snap elections.
RZS has issued a declaration on occasion of a large-scale protest organized by chief opposition party, the Bulgarian Socialist Party, in Sofia Saturday.
In the statement, RZS criticized the protest as an uneffective and disingenuous way to oppose the cabinet.
"Today's protest rally of BSP actually helps GERB and reaffirms the status quo of infinite transition. The Socialists made a protest that has no clear political goal besides showing their party has not been rendered entirely anemic," reads the RZS declaration.
The self-styled conservatives further call on not only BSP, but also the other parliamentary groups not supportive of the cabinet - the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and the rightist Blue Coalition - to leave Parliament and inisist on early elections in the fall.
