Georgi Kadiev, the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) candidate for Mayor of Sofia, has said he has succeeded to demonstrate character during the election campaign.
“At these elections, I wanted to show the character of BSP with a new vision and new goals. I succeeded, and I’m satisfied with the result,” he said.
“I am waiting to hear the final figures and I shall comment further at the press conference,” he added. "I am satisfied with the support that the people of Sofia gave me; it is enough for me and I don't blame anyone."
"The traditional right were hiding in the bushes and did not put up a candidate, and now they are boldly commenting on the results. You may blame BSP for anything, but it stood by me, and that is the first step towards change for the party. said Kadiev.
