Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo Highway Construction Starts Today
Excitement mounts as the Regional Ministry announces the commencement of the much-anticipated highway construction linking Ruse to Veliko Tarnovo, set to kick off this Sunday.
The four people that have been in contact with 21-year-old Ivan Dimitrov have not been infected with the swine flu Рђ(Рќ1N1) virus.
The news was announced by Doctor, Marieta Alexieva, from the Health Inspection in the city of Veliko Tarnovo where Dimitrov is treated after being officially declared Monday the first swine flu case in Bulgaria.
Tests for the young man's parents, sister and uncle have been sent to the National Center for Contagious Diseases in Sofia and have revealed that the relatives have not contacted the flu.
The doctors from the Veliko Tarnovo hospital where Dimitrov is listed report he is in good condition, the symptoms are no longer present and he has no fever. If the young man continues to feel the same way Wednesday, he will be released from the hospital, the doctors inform.
Dimitrov, who is a student at Pennsylvania University in the US, arrived back from New York on a flight via Amsterdam on May 27.
His first flu symptoms appeared on May 29, and he sought medical help on May 30 for the first time. The flu case was confirmed by tests carried out in Sofia.
