The flagship of the United States Navy's Sixth Fleet "US Mount Whitney" is expected to arrive on Saturday at the port of the Bulgarian Black Sea capital Varna.
"US Mount Whitney" is going to conduct drill navigation exercises in the Black Sea from November 10 to November 18 along with several seminars, which are scheduled to take place on board the ship.
Naval officers from Bulgaria, Romania, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia and Russia are going to participate in the seminars and the discussions.
Meanwhile, the Varna port roadstead tower reported that the port is partially closed on Saturday due to strong winds.
Empty ships are not allowed to enter the port because the winds reach 8 miles/second making maneuvers very difficult.
