The Mayor of Bulgaria's Kocherinovo municipality has awarded 22-year-old Lyuben Kastrev, who embarked on life-saving missions multiple times in February.
The young man was praised for his actions and given a monetary award of BGN 300 from the municipal budget for such occasions.
"I thank you for helping people in such harsh conditions, people in the most remote locations. I thank God for guarding you, because you risked your life and health to help others," the Mayor said during the ceremony.
