An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale hit Greece, Friday night.

According to reports of the Greek Institute of Geodynamics, the quake occurred some 250 km west of the capital city Athens.

So far no victims or material damages have been reported, BGNES news agency informs.

The temblor which was felt strongly in the region of Peloponnese occurred around 6:12 pm local time. Its epicenter was located 32 km south of Patras, the third largest city in Greece.
