Romina Andonova, who won the title Miss Bulgaria 2010, said that the contestant from South Africa, Nicole Flint, should have been the winner at Miss World 2010.
“She had the perfect body. She seemed very nice, she was very communicative and talked to everyone. Most of the girls wanted her to win,” Romina said in an interview for Novinite.com (Sofia News Agency).
She added that all the other contestants knew that Alexandria Mills would be the winner. The Bulgarian admitted that she was a little disappointed from the Miss World 2010 beauty pageant.
“I am very grateful that my agency, Visage Models, sent me there. China is a different world. But I personally felt a little bit used. They did not leave us five minutes to realize where we were and what was going on. It was very intense. It was very interesting and a lot of fun, but in the end, the reality is different,” Andonova said.
However, she still wants to continue working in the fashion industry, but has decided to not depend on modeling only and is currently considering other career options.
“I want to continue having modeling jobs, but I also want to have a solid university background and be able to work something in the fashion industry even later on,” Andonova said.
The multi-talented Miss Bulgaria 2010 has been singing and dancing as a child. She has also studied graphic design and biology. However, she is currently considering studying something related to Fashion Design, Fashion Style or Public Relations.
The model, who received many Bulgarian awards in 2010, is currently occupied with moving in with her boyfriend, the Macedonian football player from the Bulgarian football club “Levski”, Darko Tasevski.
“I wish to everybody to have the kind of relationship I have with him. It is normal for people to be interested in us, but we are trying to be discrete about it,” Romina said.
However, the two are not considering getting married yet. They are focused on their careers and busy schedules.
